Utica Area 

Utica is a City in the Mohawk Valley and at the center of Oneida County, New York. Utica is a great place to live and is famous for its success of manufacturing during the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a diverse population of over 60,000 and all a safe family oriented place to live.

Herkimer Area

The Village of Herkimer is on the north side of the Mohawk River and is part of Herkimer County. A highlight for Herkimer is the Herkimer Diamond Minds. A great place for family fun. Herkimer is a Diamond in the rough and has great opportunities.

Little Falls Area

Located in Herkimer County, NY, Little Falls is built around the Mohawk River. It’s 221 miles from NYC – approximately a 3.5-4 hour drive. It was once the cheese capital of America, but is known now for its historic charm and multiple antiquing spots.

Holland Patent Area

Centrally located between Utica and Rome, NY, it’s an easy commute to either in a short time. The Holland Patent Central School District is also one of the best in the area.

Clinton Area 

Clinton, NY is one of the safest places in America and home to Hamilton College. Centrally located in New York State, its just 252 miles (4 hours) to NYC, 86 miles to Albany (just under 2 hours) and 192 miles (3 hours) to Buffalo.

New Hartford Area 

New Hartford is a good place to live in Central New York. Located close to the Thruway as well as an abundance of shops and restaurants, it’s a popular place to live in Oneida County.

Rome Area

Well known as the Copper City, Rome is the home of Fort Stanwix as well as the starting point for the construction of the Erie Canal. It got it’s name during the Classical Naming Period as many upstate NY towns and cities were named after famous European cities. Located at the foothills of the Adirondacks, Rome has a lot to offer.

Whitesboro Area

Whitesboro has a great school district and is minutes away from Commercial Drive, the area’s shopping hub. It is also close to a diverse array of businesses, making it a prime location to live, work, and raise a family.

Ilion Area

Ilion, NY is most famous for being the home of the Remington Arms factory. It’s a small town with friendly neighbors, but close to the thruway and major highways to make commuting to Herkimer or Utica easy and fast.

Old Forge Area

Old Forge is a great place to enjoy the outdoors year round. Located close to McCauley Mountain for skiing or snowboarding, home of Enchanted Forest Water Safari, and situated right on the Fulton Chain of Lakes, Old Forge offers something for every one.

Oneida Area

With an excellent school system and located midway between Syracuse and Utica, NY, the Oneida area is a thriving community with year round activities as well as proximity to parks, outdoor activities and a large number of colleges. PS. Oneida is pronounced OH-NYE-DAH and was once home to the famous Oneida Limited, known for its silverware and table service.

Mohawk Area 

In the heart of the Mohawk Valley, this area is located just south east of Utica, NY. The school system is merged with Ilion. It’s a community that is spread out, allowing for outdoor enjoyment year round, with a lot of local shops that serve the community.

Hamilton Area

Known one of the friendliest towns in America by Forbes magazine, Hamilton is home to Colgate University as well as a myriad of shops and a thriving downtown district. With a golf course, village maintained trails and nearby proximity to campgrounds and forests, Hamilton is one of the top places to live in Central New York.

Canastota Area

Situated a short 20 miles to Syracuse, Canastota, NY is a fantastic place to live. It has a great small town feeling with an ongoing downtown revitalization effort. It’s also famous for being the home of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
